AI PATTERN. Digital changed permanently. What do users feel? Fear or consciousness?
On June 28th, 2018, Personalive, in collaboration with Great Pixeland POLI.Design, presented the second edition of Experience Matters research about Marketing & UX.
The goal of Experience Matters is to underline the fact that Design and Marketing are not completely separate fields, but they constitute more and more a strategical and winning combination for what concerns the increase of digital performances and the improvement of user experience for products and services.
Held in Milan, the event was attended by more than 200 people to talk about the topic “AI PATTERN. Digital changed permanently. What do users feel? Fear or consciousness?”: this was accomplished through the presentation of the results of the research carried out by Personalive on a sample of 1.000 users, representatives of more than 11 million of Italian heavy e-commerce users.
Some of the questions which were addressed during the event have been:
- What do people really think about artificial intelligence? Do they notice its existence?
- Is artificial intelligence perceived as a value or a risk?
- Do people adopt particular protection strategies?
- How does this awareness influence the adoption/use of the product/service and consequently the brand itself and companies value offering?
Marketing & Design topics have been addressed also thanks to stories and round tables of different industries and business sectors, both B2B and B2C, as for instance Aldo Fumagalli of Hoover Candy Group and Roberto Chieppa of Fastweb, with the aim to foster the contamination and deepen the perception and attitude of users about safety, personal identity, privacy and provision of innovative services.
More specifically, the new multichannel heavy e-shopper customers segmentation map, developed in 2017, has been updated and nowadays it is a solid basis to take decisions impacting the operative design of digital touchpoints as well as to define levels of affinity while developing Dynamic Personas® profiles.
